Fashion Inspiration: Christmas Eve

It’s days like today that I feel very fortunate. As I listen to stories of friends still trying to throw together family Christmas gatherings…I sit at my computer, in front of my little space heater, while wearing my fluffy red slippers.

Don’t hate me, but I’m done. Years ago my hubby and I made a pact that by this time each year, it would be just us. Holiday party for the friends….done. Holiday gatherings with family…done.

Tonight we’ll open our gifts. And tomorrow morning our little doggies will get their Santa gifts. (Yes, we’re THOSE kind of people.)

And throughout our four-day weekend, we’ll get a chance to spend more time with each other than usual. We’ll probably watch a few movies, drink hot chocolate, eat turkey and green bean casserole (my favorite) and spend a lot of time just talking. I love our Christmases together.

And this year I’m even getting a white Christmas! I feel truly blessed.
