Classic Question:

This pop-culture quiz seems to have forever pitted these two fictional characters against each other.

I’m of course referring to the television comedy Gilligan’s Island, in which Tina Louise played the role of a stranded starlet and Dawn Wells was girl-next-door Mary-Ann.

Always surprising to me is the fact that Ginger loses this pop-culture competition.  I grew up watching re-runs of the show and always loved Ginger.  She had the best clothes (and shoes) on the island!  How could I not like her?  She was flirty, sexy and exotic…I wanted to be her.

Since today Tina Louise celebrates a birthday, I thought I’d ask you:

GINGER or MARY-ANN?
