Recently my dear friend M. returned from Venice with a gift of beads for me.  Handmade on the island of Murano, they are such a special treasure.

Years ago I designed jewelry for boutiques – so I knew I would put them to good use.  And today was the day…

My wire-wrapping skills have grown a little rusty over the past few years, but I finally finished.  I thought I’d share!

Constructed of sterling silver, gemstones, pearls, and vermeil beads plus my special beads from Venice – I made it super-long so I can wrap it around a few times.

Now if I could just take a good photo!
