When I Grow Up…

In my mid-60’s, I want to look like Helen Mirren at last night’s SAG Awards.  Amazing!  When she was onstage in the spotlight, she seemed to glow.  She kind of took my breath away.

I would love to get a closer look at her gown.  It appeared to be grayish in color and covered with scattered clear stones.  The look was completed with two long necklaces and a sheer wrap that appeared to be attached at the shoulders.  (See below.)

While some have argued the look was too busy, I think it suited her.  Perhaps the key was the fact the ensemble was composed entirely of neutral colors and she kept her hair and makeup simple.
